On Sunday 27th September 2015, members and friends at St Martin’s enjoyed a glorious Harvest Festival Service led by Mrs Linda Ogden. The church was decorated beautifully, as usual, with Ann Brown’s Harvest Loaf once again baked specially and taking pride of place on the table.

All the donated fresh food was taken and given to Warrington YMCA, and all the dried and canned goods went to Warrington Foodbank.

The congregation spoke warmly about the music selection during the service, which was enjoyed by all:
Our God Is A Great Big God
For The Fruits Of His Creation  Thanks Be To God
The King Of Love My Shepherd Is
We Plough The Fields And Scatter
Come Ye Thankful People Come

Afterwards we were joined by members and friends of Lymm and Rixton Methodist Churches for a Faith Lunch.

Donations combined with the proceeds from the recent Coffee Morning raised a total of £365 for Macmillan Cancer Care.

Many thanks to Linda for leading our worship today, enabling us to give God thanks for all his gifts, with joyful singing and thankful giving.
